A Luxury Custom Home Builder's Story

My name is Bill Silliman. I have been a builder in Central Florida for 31 years. My previous company, Reiche & Silliman, Inc. has built many communities in the last 19 years such as Kensington Park, Cypress Landing, Mirabella at Viscaya, Highlands at Lake Conway, Vistamere, and finally Venezia.

Our new company, Silliman Homes, is designed to accomplish something that has not been attempted in Orlando in over twenty years. Simply, we intend to deliver Location, Quality and Value in ways that the real estate industry seems to have forgotten how to do.

Today, luxury custom homes are routinely priced at over a million dollars and they’re often built by Wall Street production companies more interested in the bottom line than a truly quality home. In the face of skyrocketing prices and accelerated building schedules, hard-working men and women were left to choose from the characterless production homes and communities they could afford or do without. Even then, models would be loaded with expensive options and upgrades to make them easier to sell because the base models had nothing to recommend them.

I say enough is enough! We’re better that that – we all deserve better than that. I’m a custom home builder like my father was a builder and my grandfather before him! And, as past President of the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando I know it’s true. The difference is, I intend to prove it. We set the bar for quality Florida luxury home builders.

My industry – the homebuilding industry – is the greatest industry our country has ever had! I may be biased, but I know firsthand that it is full of dedicated, talented, hard working men and women. At Silliman Homes, my entire team is prepared to prove that by thrilling our customers with all that our own talents, abilities and hearts can create.
